Greater Manchester? The only thing I'll dispute is our fans will be home before theirs. Plastic tossers. And whilst they complain about the Blue part of Manchester and all their wealth, cast your mind back to the day they joined the Stock Exchange. I could go on..the arsehole of everything that is wrong with English football.

That said, my one of my favourite moments playing them was back in 75/76..? League Cup midweek game at Villa Park (Andy Gray signing), for some reason me and my dad were in the lower Trinity; half time piss and a Man U fan was giving it some, "let's do what we always do lads" whilst pissing up the wall. My father just leaned into him so the twat couldn't move and pissed all down his trousers. Sweet revenge for the Plastic cowardly scum that were quietly gobbing on his coat in the Witton End the previous game. It was after that we moved to the Holte.

As I said, Hookey, I hate them more than you do. The Noses don't even come close.

Where I live now, there aren't any professional clubs within 50 miles. People of a certain age support Liverpool (the 80s), slightly younger people Man Utd (the 90s).  More of a mix in even younger (some Arsenal, some Chelsea, the odd Man City).  but still the majority is Liverpool and Man Utd.  I can forgive them it because there is no obvious alternative.  But, people who live in a big city, with loads of local options... for them to still support clubs based in smaller, further away cities is a bit... sad.  I don't really get it.

What these people will never get is the pure joy of seeing your local club win. The club you didn’t choose from a league table or because Sky shove them down your throat 24/7, but one that you had no choice in following. The club that no matter how hard you try sometimes, you just can’t detach yourself from.
I feel sorry for them because they could never experience what I have in 50 years of walking up and down Witton Lane, week in and week out no matter what. They make you cry most of the time but those moments of glory have been worth every penny. Something money can’t and never will be able to buy.
It’s not in their blood no matter how they say it is so next time you hear a brummie red, shake your head by all means but smile as they will never experience what we do.
