I'm wondering why they aren't using their power to do something.
I respect them and know they are very good people so hope they can heat people request and keep things to transfer I was surprised to see it being disregarded when it's clear for all to see.
I'm having a break as people and will hope for Diaby to be signed which will take us back on topic!
I didn't mean to sound rude to the moderators but people are asking for things to stop.
And no I have several devices and sometimes type quicker than other times!

If there’s one thing that annoys more people than off-topic posts it’s you. So pipe down.
I'm on break till we sign someone so I will leave.
And thanks for trying to make me feel bad.

I’ve annoyed plenty of people on here. It’s fine. We’re civilised. Nothing happens.

Never say never to a stoning or a good old beheading.

Talk that we've increased our offer for Diaby to £43m with the Saudi club matching it.

The Saudi offer was €43m including all add-ons.

The first one was. We're supposed to have gone back in with a €50m offer, which they then matched.

Monchi demonstrating his negotiating skills or from Twitter as I can't find anything to confirm? I'd hope the player has made it clear he's not interested in a move to Saudi. It would put an end to his international career for a start.

I think if I've followed the thread correctly, we're signing Mohammed bin Salman and Ron DeSantis.

Footy did say we should expect some American signings now that Chris Heck is at B6.

Given where he's from his Spanish is probably pretty good too.

I forgot to mention the other day I don't see Pedro Gonçalves signing, the fool has just got engaged to a bloody medical student. I can't see the student doctor being too thrilled being stuck here by herself whilst her future husband is living the dream by playing for Aston Villa.

It's going to be so 'competitive' in training next season it might do no harm to be married to a medical student.

I believe Diaby is a Sunni Muslim. Maybe he is interested to hear what the Saudi's have to offer?

Just reading a thing in the mail there about Diaby. They reckon Leverkusen don't actually want to sell him, so hopefully that means they only will if he wants to go. I've seen several reports say that he's interested in us, and has worked with Emery before, albeit only briefly.
They also reckon it'll be done before Leverkusen go on a preseason trip this coming weekend, so we should know one way or the other very soon.

True, assuming he actually marries her.
Anyway, he's gone right down in my estimation, he sold the rights to his proposal, down on one knee moment to a celeb/gossip magazine. What a tosser! Harsh? He also said last month that he wants to be/should be the highest paid player at Sporting.

Gonçalves apparently prepared to sign a new contract at Sporting. I think we've long moved on tbh.

Signing him, Johnson and Diaby along with the others couldn't be good for our FFP. I think we're serious about Diaby because we've moved on from Gonçalves.

He also said last month that he wants to be/should be the highest paid player at Sporting.

I read that before and it implied that Sporting would have to go to either 5, or 5.5 million a year, can't remember which, to make him the highest paid. 5.5 works out at 106k a week, and I assume that's euros. So, if it came down to it, we could probably meet his wage demands. I think it's the 80million asking price is the problem.
