"Despite links to Aston Villa move, no concrete talks and no plan to leave at this stage." isn't exactly a firm link form him though

Could Torres 2 be using our apparent interest in him to put himself in the shop window? He's basically saying he's open to the idea of a move, but he's not looking at offers until after his holiday. Plenty of time for other teams to get offers together.

Noticed he came through Valencia ranks. Was Unai there then?

Sort of. But left when Torres was 12 years old, so I imagine he wasn't looking too hard at him.

Ferran on Emery: "I've seen him at Valencia. He's been a benchmark, he's doing things very well and you never know. Today I want to be at Barça, but football takes a lot of turns". https://www.marca.com/futbol/barcelona/2023/06/30/649eb593e2704e1e938b4594.html

Not exactly the firmest 'No' either.

Nah he talks shite about the Villa. The inner bitter bird in him tries to break free constantly but he knows we're the only reason he's remotely relevant and if he had to make a career writing about the bitters then he'd be living on cupasoups for the rest of his life.

Agreed. I’ve never met one yet who isn’t twisted with bitterness. The reason they don’t write about their own club is because there’s absolutely nothing to write about. Once they realise how irrelevant they are in comparison to us they’ll have a more relaxed lifestyle.

No, definitely not getting my hopes up, but I wouldn't fall off my chair in surprise either if he rocked up at B6 at some stage.

When Barca start putting out feelers, you're already gone. Just waiting for the smear campaign to start!
