There's something about port cities that makes them have a different feel.

Genoa, Naples, Marseille, for example. Even Liverpool to a degree.

It's where the err, 'goods' come in, so you've usually got a heavy criminal scene

Jaoa Felix looks crap to me and I can't spell his name properly. It's a no from me.

He’s not crap. If someone plays him correctly he’d be excellent.

I know a manager who might be able to do that.

I did say a few days ago I had a feeling we'd be in for him given the manager had specifically referenced trying to get him in January.

A big upgrade on Buendia.

Think it's harsh to judge a player on how he did for half a year in a flailing, depressed Chelsea side in a Sarlacc pit morale-wise, in a famously tough league to adapt to, jumping in halfway through the season.

Absolutely.

I guess it may have helped our cause that he's been in this country for six months, has seen first hand how difficult the league is, and has watched us smash our way up the league and leave the club he joined for dust.

Like a long drawn out version of Jim Bowen showing contestants what they could've won.

Not too fussed about Felix. Just one I have a gut feeling wouldn’t work. Other ‘links’ this morning are JWP, not arsed about that one either and Abraham who might be a bit more like it but still not massively thrilling.

It would amusing if Joao Felix turned out to be good for us, that London mob would implode with rage.

He started well at chelsea and most commentators said his efforts and performance put the permanent signings to shame.

He seems to be a player that you have to build the team around so struggled under a Simone but I’d be confident he’d smash it in the Bailey role.

Yes he’s struggled in two specific scenarios - Athletico where the team is almost set up to undermine what he does and Chelsea, who are shite.

More the Buendia role based on where he plays.

Not for me, I’d have him as second striker, like Robbie Keane (but better). Not sure the tracking back expected of Buendia would be a good use of his strengths. Nice problem to have though.

Have you seen the sort of prices and fee he would command - yet i could not for the life of me see why it was so high and hardly seemed justified.

Another one of these players that are over hyped beyond their actual ability.

BUT if UA wants a 3 legged Camel to play then i will go with his thoughts - if he thinks this guy is the deal that is good enough for me
