Lo Celso getting linked again, Emery managed him at PSG and signed him twice for Villareal.

Flopped when last in PL though, lazy paper talk I hope.

I certainly don't remember much about him from when we played Spurs in our first two seasons back up? Did he even play in any of those four games?

Technically he's still a Spurs player it seems.
He played very well for Emery at Villareal.
And he was also instrumental in Argentina great unbeaten run and a main player in national team before he was injured and ruled out if the world cup.
I think makes good sense to have some one he knows will follow instructions. Good Player.

I thought he was Lamela. That's the extent of my knowledge. Or serious lack of.

Sadio Mane 31 and Joao Cancelo 28 could be moving on and signing them both would be strong moves.

I doubt we'll sign Ugarte, I'll be surprised if he doesn't end up at Liverpool.

True, Liverpool seem to enjoy paying Portuguese clubs double the amount the player is worth.

You want to tell the Darwin Núñez story again, don't you? :)

Nah I think given a season or two he'll come good but to expect him to be the new Cavini was hoping just a wee bit too much.

I never appreciated how good Cavani was until I saw him play for Man Utd. One of the most intelligent strikers I think I've ever seen.

But they don't play in Spain (or Portugal), aren't Spanish, don't have guaranteed release clauses... See also Smith - Rowe.

It wouldn't be worth the money imo. Wages would likely be outrageous.

When I read your transfer post I expect to be disappointed with your horrific suggestions. Once again you have gone on to confirm that. Lumbering our club with another couple of Coutinho’s would be crippling to say the least.

What nonsense!
2 exceptional players who have lit up the Premier league?!
Imagine having Moreno and Mane on the left side and Cancello on the right yes that would really hamper us.
Yes Sporting Lisbon Ugarte, Real Mallorca's Lee Kang and  Asesnio of real madrid are also the opposite to horrific.
Seems like you want to just do out downs for the sake of it.

Up The Villa!

Yes indeed. I watched his super present mind in action in the 3rd round match. His natural laziness had allowed his man, Konsa, to elude him. On realising this he decided to run into Ramsey to earn a foul in the “build up” leading to our goal. Some will say a cheat but as long as officials are blind he’s intelligent.

Think you only have to look at Percy's list from a few pages back to see how many of these rumours are clearly bollocks. They look very much like picking out vaguely plausible names they've either played in sides at the same time as Emery or Alemany have been there.

Granit Xhaka, Ilkay Gundogan and Tammy Abraham had all linked with moves away.

It's exactly how they work some rumours to give them links. There are as many feasible as unfeasible.
