Borja Baston is up there with the most pointless signings of modern times. 16 minutes of game time as a sub over two games. I wonder how much he earned for that.

Jermaine Jenas is waving a big foam hand and is wanting his name added too !

I was there when Jenas was shot, still couldn't tell you where the shooter was located.

The whole of our midfield at the time were implicated though through their passing patterns:

"Back and to the left... back and to the left..."

Made me laugh, very god work.  And made me revisit a certain Bill Hicks sketch.

Not that it means much but he got 22 in 40 in the Spanish second division last year.

In Oviedo no less. Sounds like a nice life.

That's 21 more than Wesley got in the same division so far this year.

Looks like Alexis Mac Allister will be sought after with Liverpool reportedly after him. Perhaps the two Emi's could have a word in his ear should Villa be interested in him? I think he's a great player.

Best getting Wesley back and the miracle man can turn him into prime Drogba

I'd settle for turning Coutinho into prime Coutinho.

As good as Emery is, not much he can do with a player who's routinely injured.

Most pointless signing has to be that Portuguese GK, that only played against Colchester. We had too many loanees, so couldn't play him.
