After the Newcastle game it seems the National Press have finally noticed our emergence. Much adulation, even Chris Sutton has forecast us to beat Brentford.

I hope our players don't let the 'limelight' go to their heads and take their foot of the accelerator.

I honestly don't give a shit whether the press or pundits  notice us or not. As for the players, I like to think Emery will have them focused on the game and tactics too much for them to notice.

Under various management in the past, possibly right back to Ron Saunders we’ve had some players who have had a tendency to believe all the hype only for it to go tits up. I can’t see Emery allowing this to happen. He puts emphasis on every player’s job against each and every team. If players comply then we will succeed.
