Not sure really why we're experimenting with a lop-sided three at the back. I know that Emery likes the unbalanced set up, but this seems a step too far.

Because it is a friendly and sometimes they are used for experimentation?

Fucking brilliant goal.

Could've got another seconds later as well.

That goal by Konsa is one you see once in a decade.

This is what pre season is for.

Bit of an issue though if Digne picks up a knock at any point in next two weeks as wouldn't fancy Pau v likes of Almiron based on that goal. Would rather stick Mings there although Kons-Pau feels a little too "quiet."

As I type Konsa turns into Maradona and scores an amazing goal, this game is better than 90% of prem matches.

Is not just the reverse of our normal set-up, I guess to see if it works? Normally attacking left-back and other three mostly stay back.  Today it's the attacking right-back?  Agree it's not working though!

But even with the one attacking full back, the chap sitting back at the opposite side is still a full back, just one not getting forward as much. I think if we end up playing Konsa or Torres at right or left back regularly, it won't end up being very successful.
