Possibly the worst I've seen us defend in some time.

For fucks sake.

Totally not good enough in defence today.

Dreadful. Shocking. Shambolic.

Moreno looks decent going forward but absolutely shite at defending.

Bring Duran on.

The execution by the back four today is appalling. Absolutely appalling.

Moreno messed that up. For 4-2. One of those games.  Desperately unlucky to be losing this with amount if attacks we had

Got exactly what we deserve.  Kamikaze defending all the way through this game.  Emery needs to stop being pig headed with this passing around at the back.  This is 1000% his fault

I'm struggling to remember the last time we gifted a side 4 goals like we have today. And it's fuck all to do with not strengthening, as every goal was because of supposedly better players.

To go from near total pressure at their end to that is awful. FFS.

Abysmal defending all day, but also incredible profligacy up front.

Game over then.  Great window Villa.  Fucking wonderful.

It's defense that's cost us today, we weren't looking to strengthen there in January.
