If he is making a point (and he doesn't strike me as the sort to do that kind of thing) then it's a waste of a sub. Everything you read about him is how meticulous he is to detail. Maybe were all missing something.

West Ham, Leicester and Man Utd have also done it. Too lazy to check for reasons why though. QuoteAncelotti has now provided some explanation behind that, explaining how three shot-stoppers can be useful. The boss told Sky Sports: "It's good to give Joao [Virginia] some matchday experience."It's also helpful I find to have two goalkeepers for the warm-ups. Cheers, that seems more likely than Emery doing politics with the board.

I really dont like the 2 GK subs, as I see it there are only three reasons why we have 2 keepers on the bench1) Unai thinks it is more likely we will need to sub the GK twice, then one of our youth players being able to make an impact2) Unai is trying to prove a point 3) Olsen has something in his contract, but Unai has no intention of using him 3 doesn't make sense, so either it our available youth are really shit, or he's trying to make a point. Either way its a slight concern

It would be weird if he was making a point seeing as he mentioned quite strongly in the press conference how happy he was with the January activity.
No Moreno is plain wrong.
