What's the point of having 2GKs on the bench?
Maybe EMI isn’t 100% and there’s a concern he might need to be replaced early on.

Love to ask the question before the game .   Seems weird

I suppose seeing as we had space on the bench, it gets him involved in the match day proceedings . No harm done really if we hand'nt taken anyone else down.

At a guess someone got an injury late on in the travelling party and he didn’t have a choice. It would be weird to have consciously chosen to have two keepers.

Maybe they see some value in the young keeper being in and around the first team squad in preparation for the day Olsen leaves us.  What a sad day that will be.

I wonder if that bench is Emery’s way of telling the board to pull their fucking fingers out?

I must have missed that £30m we've spent so far this January.

Bella-Kotchap missing.. that's a bonus

I was pleased that Theo Walcott was out, as he seems to turn into Alfredo di Stefano and Puskas rolled into one against us.

References for the youngsters there.

Harry Redknapp always used to do it as a flex whenever he wanted to show that he needed to sign more players.

Thought as much with Emery today.

Put the letters t o t a l s p o r t and e k together forming one word then do a search. You may find running water.
If this is, ahem, OT, please delete or tell me. Ta!

Maybe they have worked out that if Emi gets injured we need 2 goalkeepers to replace him

2 keepers on the bench, interesting. Maybe one of them is good upfront.

very bizarre
But it’s ok we have £10M coming from West Ham for our leading goal scorer who’s no longer here.
