Virtually nobody ever goes for £50 million in January.

Depends how desperate a team is for a centre forward

Cant see Duran leaving us - his reputation is obviously putting clubs off buying him.

He needs to prove to Emery that he can play an important role within the team, hopefully he will accept the challenge.

I'm not sure it's that, because they wouldn't have got involved in the first place. I just think we're holding out for what we think we can get, and we don't need to sell so won't take less.

Our valuation seems the issue at this stage . Surprised Chelsea baulked though as they throw tens of millions at any old shite .

There was a suggestion that they walked away over him and his agent dicking them around, I think we quoted the price WHam that we quoted Chelsea.

Chelsea seem to favouring financial packages where there's a big emphasis on performance-related bonuses. The talk is that West Ham have been offering him £90k/week. His agent probably did dick about with Chelsea trying to get them to match what West Ham had offered him.

He'll score. We'll celebrate. All will be forgotten until he decides he's been a insert name here fan all of his life just before the Jan window opens. Scored a few goals before then, the fee will be £50M.

If he does well and scores a few goals before January why on earth would we sell him

Cos if he keeps flirting with London clubs and disrespecting his current employer he can fuck off

I cannot see him kicking another ball for us.

£30m or above and I will do the proverbial "drive him there myself".

At £40 m it’s hard to see who will be in for him having lost the Chelsea and West Ham interest.

Saudi/Qatar is our only hope. Nobody in Europe will pay that money.
Can’t see him and his entourage hanging out in Riyadh or Doha.

Me neither but it would be fun to watch.

Would you catch a boat? Or just fly and hire a car when you get here?

Haha. Tbh, I'd be willing to swim if it meant getting rid of him.

Why would he move out of Birmingham when you have that rich club down the road, people I tell you he only waiting for the call, it's all smoke and mirrors
