It's easy when your primary concern is price above fit.

Which is clearly the motivation for Sullivan but with Lopetegui having just gone there I'd have expected him to want to add palyers to suit how he wants to play rather than just accepting whatever he's given.

Fullkrug is also only a few months younger than Danny Ings. He might be a lot more mobile, but it's still a very strange signing given the age profile of their existing strike force.

If I had the choice i'd go for Duran every time, unless he or his agent were utter twats during any negotions. His potential ceiling, both in ability and value is very high. Fulkrug will devalue every day and won't get any better.

He's (Duran) also not unlike Antonio in terms of style of play, in terms of strength and physicality. Oh well, fuck West Ham.

I am happy to keep Duran. Emery will sort him out and we need a good pack up for Ollie.

I'd prefer him and his agent gone . But if the valuation isn't met he can go next window or the one after .

Leave his lunchbox out of it.

Assuming he comes back you'd like to think there's somebody who would tell him if he wants a move to another club then here's his opportunity to earn it and no more would be said about his antics (unless he carries on acting the clown)

if we get the 40mill that we reportedly want
who do we replace him with ?

Toney is to similar to Watkins, Lukaku is a big risk and both are a lot older,
There are probably some decent No 9 journeyman around the 30+ who could do a job and bring a bit of experience,
but Duran has scored more goals per minute than Watkins and is 20 years old, I don’t see any scenario where we are better off footballing wise by selling him, the only thing against keeping him for me is that a loose cannon reputation

Find me a player, at a similar fee, that brings the chaos that Duran brings.

Basically, this. I'd want a non-twat version of Duran who can, ideally, play on the wing a bit so could play instead of or alongside Watkins.

Duran has lots of potential, but I think the thing is, he's so different to Ollie that he doesn't really work as a long term solution for us. He's great as a sub to come on and create havoc for 15-20 minutes, but that's not going to be enough for him, and doesn't really help us as a team in the long run. I can't ever see him being the week in, week out striker for a team like us managed by Emery.

Not sure about chaos but Tammy Abraham would cost about the same as what Duran will eventually leave for. Coming back from an ACL so might suit him to be Watkins backup to start with. Two years younger than Ollie.

I know he is old, but i would include in the deal to WH that Antonio comes our way.

For a single year he has lots of experience, still scores goals in the prem would be good for final 20 /15 mins in games and knows how to run the front line on his own.

A year gives us the chance to find a longer term replacement
