Will he be buying out one or both owners after a stunning Lottery win?

The players are the assets of the club. Gone are the days of bomb squads and throwing millions down the WC. Emery has the owners trust to manage these situations and ensure we exit players in a fiscally positive way. Duran is a total prick and we don't need him but Emery can't say that and will manage him out appropriately.

Then why mention it at all?
Mind your own God damn business

It’s quite hard to mind your own business when you post something on a forum where people will reply to you.

Hes a precocious talent with a bit of a screw loose like Balotelli
If you can harness that you’ve got a class player, if you can’t you’ve got a nutter on your hands

The reason his price is 30-40m  is because there’s not many strikers about certainly not young ones like him
So the problem is, if we get that money for him where on earth do we go to replace him for the same sort of outlay

I still think keeping him is the best option if we can make it work out on the maverick/loony bit

Surely things are too far gone now? Talent wise he's a great option to have for sure but you gamble with dressing room dynamics at your peril. Think we should have sold him to West Ham, whatever few million we missed out on will seem very cheap if he comes back and acts the maggot again.

Well we got to hope things haven’t gone to far because unless we get the exact amount we are asking for and apparently sticking to our guns over in a pay what we want or go away scenario he’ll be going nowhere

If you were a Colombian professional sports person wouldn’t you be wanting to be front and centre?  Just sayin’. Oh and he cannot miss goal chances.  No wonder he’s bizarre.

He'll be gone by August 31st. May well be on a loan to buy, somewhere in mainland Europe, a Zaniolo type move  I reckon.

I agree, this week should be an interesting one as I think young Jhon wears his heart well and truly on his sleeve so he could be a no show, could kick off big style at training or hopefully will get his head down, have a great season, and be worth more next year. A big test for the manager but hopefully by the end of the week all will be well.

I'm very much looking forward to around 25 cross-arms goal celebrations  ;D

I think he'll be gone August 18th, straight after we play West Ham.

I mentioned this in the pre season thread, but given there are players who actually played in the summer tournaments back with us, and playing, is it odd that he's not?

Or is there a specific rule that forbids him from coming back even if he was just part of the Colombia squad but never played?
