Hes a precocious talent with a bit of a screw loose like Balotelli
If you can harness that you’ve got a class player, if you can’t you’ve got a nutter on your hands

The reason his price is 30-40m  is because there’s not many strikers about certainly not young ones like him
So the problem is, if we get that money for him where on earth do we go to replace him for the same sort of outlay

I still think keeping him is the best option if we can make it work out on the maverick/loony bit

Surely things are too far gone now? Talent wise he's a great option to have for sure but you gamble with dressing room dynamics at your peril. Think we should have sold him to West Ham, whatever few million we missed out on will seem very cheap if he comes back and acts the maggot again.

He can still go in January if he’s that determined to leave, but the best way to do that  is to play and score goals.

It helps no one if he’s consigned to a bomb squad or if he sulks to the point where he’d undermine Emery.

Duran really should be looking forward to what could be great season of opportunity for him at Villa, but since his arrival his behaviour might best be described as erratic. It looks like like he been badly advised by those closest to him, and doesn't have others at the club close enough to him, for whatever reasons.

This is my instinct too. Perhaps there's a Saudi deal in the works.

Although, with the best will on the world, he is not only young but also incredibly frivolous, and maybe that frivolity can work for us as well as against us. Who knows.

By all accounts he was disruptive last season but he still saved essentially won us our CL place with those two goals against Liverpool. So in the grand scheme of things he’s a distraction more than a player who pollutes the waters. We have too many very focused senior players to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Was told something the other day, but didn't repeat it in case untrue, but talking to someone else and he mentioned the same thing, still can't repeat it in case it is untrue

Thanks for clearing that up.
No fucking problem

So you have two ITK sources that have told you something happened (whether that was good, or bad or in the middle), but you can't say what it was because they may not be telling the truth?

The downside with any news where one person hears it from two others is there could be a possibility of the source still being one person. Person A tells Person B and Person C  something at two different times. Person C runs into Person B at a later point and tells him the information as well. Person B then goes, 'two separate people have told me the same thing so it must be true'.

There was a confirmed incident of him smashing up his rental flat wasn’t there, in the same block as Unai’s.

He damaged his rented house in Shenstone, and then was believed to have been moved into the Mailbox. I haven't seen any reports about that place being trashed though, just his leased (?) car before one of the European home matches.

Is Emery still in The Mercian in Broad Street? I thought that might have been temporary until a proper place was found.

I can not think of a more unlikely candidate for Saudi.

Enfant Terrible. Emery has the experience and temperament to manage him but he's very much drinking in the last chance saloon.

That why I didn't repeat what I heard

At least give some hint of what direction it lies in. Would it be entirely unsurprising if we never see him in a Villa shirt again? Should he be ironing his best suit for a court appearance? Will he be taking Ollie's place and be top scorer next season?
