We've remembered he plays for us

https://x.com/AVFCOfficial/status/1812620289421021371

Does he though?

Reports from Cockneyland that West Ham are ready to offer up to £37m for our Colombian off field demolition meechant.

We bloght Duran for £14.75m plus £3.3m in add-ons; if we've paid c.£1.25m of the add-ons so far, that's = £16m outlay to date, so a profit of c. £21m - doubled our money.

Not sure what "up to £37m" means, could be  £33m plus add-ons, or anything else, for that matter.

Understand that there's a sell-on - reckon Monchi's cut and pasted some stuff from his drop-down menu of Villa beneficial clauses.

It's more profit on the books than that for PSR. You need to amortise 1.5 years of the fee. Assuming your correct with the add onwards, knock £4.8m off, so it's closer to £25/26m.

I was only looking at the cash profit, hadn't considered PSR, but you're right Ads. I exoect all ins and outs will be viewed through the PSR prism from now on.

I’m disappointed that he wants to move. Yes he’s annoying to those that follow his social media. He’s also a yellow card every time . But I love it when he comes off the bench and really makes a difference. He’s a personality and going to be bloody brilliant (or implode). It’s a shame

Was listening to the Peterborough guy yesterday talking about West Hams interest in Toney, and struck me they are doing similar with Duran. He basically said Sullivan will low ball all summer to save a tenner then miss out and buy an unproven striker from abroad for ten million more because he pissed about for so long.

He has dead-by-40 vibes, the type who, when he stops playing will just go a bit nuts and spiral into a money fuelled hell-storm of drugs and hookers*

That doesn't necessarily kill you by 40.

When he first arrived he seemed so up for the challenge.  Remember the vid of him with the message from JPA? He was like a kid being introduced to Santa.

I get the impression that Emery has had words, the unfavourable variety.  If he keeps having to have them which seems likely he's gone.  A blossoming talent he maybe but one of questionable attitude.

There’s very few good out and out no 9’s in the game now, especially young ones they are a dying breed Duran is capable of being one of them that’s why he’s worth a fair bit

He could go on to be the next Drogba or just fall by the wayside but right now there’s not many of his footballing type’s around, I think it’s more to do with his attitude:relationships/agent than football ability as to why we’re open to letting him go

Jhon Durán: “That my name is being mentioned by such big teams, it is very important for my career. I’m happy that there are these rumours & let’s hope that something concrete happens..”
