Gallagher is a very good player, dunno why he's been slagged in the past. Could also fit the criteria of buying players who you're tired of seeing score against the Villa.

I hope it wouldn't lead to Ramsey leaving though as I prefer JJ. We need more of a Kamara II than Gallagher.

Hard to believe when Spurs exist.

I think I've said this before, he's a fantastic player and a massive potential talent but, it really wouldn't surprise me if I were to learn he's a real twat off the field.

I think he's probably a Chelsea fan, so yeah.

He has that bit of Faustino Asprilla/ Ballotelli loconess about him.

Asprilla could harness it, to an extent. And had an exceptional career. Balotelli burned out in the end, as clubs just couldn't be fcuked with the drama off the field with diminishing returns on it.

Duran is still a babby, still learning. He can prob be more respectful, aye. But you don't want to totally take away the loco part of his character that makes him the player he is.

Unai Emery wants to help Jhon Duran fulfil his potential at #AVFC, but can't guarantee he will remain at the club this summer.

"We think he can improve and grow up with us. But we have to be ready in case there's something we have to do in the transfer window with every player."

Yeah, he definitely feels like a player you'd want to keep, but also like one who might not have the patience to stay.

I think there's probably only a handful of players who we wouldn't at least consider selling if the offer was right, and we had replacements identified and a realistic chance of signing.

Martinez, Watkins, and Torres simply because he seemed to be Uni's immediate prioritiy last summer. Everyone else I think they'd probably consider if circumstances were right.

Edit - presumably Rogers too, as he's only just got here.

Jonathan Herrera (Durán’s agent): “We know he wants to play, he wants to go out & play. We are going to see. Now the market is opening up, the club is looking at some options & so are we. The interest has always been there (from Chelsea). Let’s see how we can handle it & make sure Aston Villa are ready..”

Fleece them, either for a wad of cash or Gallagher.

I think he's going to be a star but he's not knocking Ollie out of the side in the foreseeable future.

Chelsea have got a list of forwards as long as your arm compared to us, so he's clearly been enticed by the money or the London lifestyle rather than the chance of first team action.

Maybe he just fancies another crack at the Conference League.

Not another talent who's barely made it before his agent demands he leave for London's premier wankers! After Chuekwamecka (oh forget it). What is to become of us  :-[

Even without Villa glasses on if as a player I had a choice between Chelsea and Villa i'd be more tempted by us. Although it's been a fair while since that was the case.

Agents often agitate to get better deals. In this case I suspect bluff will be called and he'll be off.

He wants to play. He wants to join Chelsea who have 120 players. Something doesn’t add up.

It worked out great for Chukky at Chelsea. The grass always ain't greener.
