Don't get the hate for Ayling either, seems a decent bloke
Agreed, i like him and he’s done very well from where he started out, always one of their better players when we play them.

As much as I hate playing Leeds and their fans strange obsession with Mings, they really are a tough team to play against. They have to be the hardest working team in the league. I don’t even think they are dirty, just incredibly determined. They work hard to the end, a little bit more quality and they would be further up the table.

The obsession with Mings, he was the only survivor in our team from the day Bamford blatantly cheated and Bielsa made a gesture that he wouldn’t have made if there was anything resting on the game for them…..& the other reason is a bit more obvious

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bielsa had been booked in the first half of that game and was looking at a potential touchline ban for the play-offs. That got forgotten in the aftermath.

And the footage always shown of it ignores the context of us putting the ball out when on the attack for their injured player just beforehand.

Also, Bielsa didn't 'make the gesture', Dean Smith made him.

And Terry, he looked like he did it because he was shit scared of them

That was at the time when some Small Heath clown said we were out of control and he was reporting us to the FA.

Ha ha, really?! Brilliant. I guess a similar time to Brizzle City fans checking our accounts.

Absolutely, had completely forgotten that

I'm also absolutely loving opponents frothing at our time wasting and gamesmanship. I don't think it's entirely justified or any worse than those teams that have been doing it for years, but the very fact it's happening and working and upsetting the opposition is great.

People also tend to forget that the time wasting led to another 7 full minutes of added on time, even though the board was held up and said 6 minutes.  We coped with those 7 minutes with ease.  For all their huff and puff, Leeds failed.

Let's be honest, the reason they hate Mings is nothing to do with football, it's because he is a intelligent, successful black man who speaks his mind.Fuck Leeds and their scumbag support, one of the few clubs who if they ceased to exist I wouldn't shed a tear.

The way in which Leeds have re-invented themselves as some proper, old-fashioned sleeping giant with wonderful supporters is one of the great marketing jobs of the century.

What was quite apparent was that Villa players are far better quality than Leeds and Leeds had to play to a high standard to try and get something and still didn't. Our quality in Bailey and Buendia as well as Martinez to their error prone keeper.
We were the far more composed when in possession I felt.
And probably like Stevenage played a bit too casual at times

It seemed at times like a practice match performance from our players and its all a learning process.

Just seen the interview with their manager, he wasn't nearly as bitter as I'd hoped, I'm quite disappointed tbh.

Says he’s happy to continue loose if they play like that.

I’d be fucking overjoyed if they continue to lose and piss off back to the championship.

Marsch - “we were the better team”. He just doesn’t get it does he. If I were a Leeds fan, would be very worried.

I'd have some sympathy for him if:

They weren't a bunch of dirty pricks.
They didn't whine over every decision that doesn't go their way despite the above.
They hadn't had games go exactly the same as today ever since they came back up because they can't defend for shit and aren't as good going forward as they'd need to be to get away with it.

Also worth a special mention for the entire footballing press that seem to ignore all of the above and blow smoke up their arses, making the club and fans think they're much better liked than they really are. It'll be a great day when they fuck off back into obscurity for another 15-20years.

Fucking hear hear Paul, spot on.

Absolutely correct.

Leeds are all energy and running. Their problem is that is all they are.

I thought we were poor by our own standards but a couple of moments of quality was enough.

That’s why Leeds are where they are in the table.

They still play as they did under Bielsa only they’re much blunter with it

They reminded me of a decent championship team. Lots of energy, committed, but low on quality.

They look like an American team. Like you say, lots of energy, all capable players, organised, but there's no spark.

I thought we started it far too early last night. Wasn't Konsa booked for it after an hour? It only was upsetting our own play at that point. Konsa had a shocking second half I thought

What did he do that was so shocking?

Give me defensive lapses rather than "I can't stand him passing the ball sideways to Young five yards away all the time."

I thought he was huge in last 10 minutes, cut out plenty of dangerous crosses from Leeds. If he dosen't the ball probably goes to Bamford for more tap ins.
