Those who are already turning on Emery, who exactly do you think we'll get who is any better? We're already "punching" with him.

Yeah turning on him is daft.

I'm not turning on Emery. I'm just pissed off at losing. I think he should have played Kamara and Martinez at least. I was going to say Mings too but he is prone to a fuck up or two as well. Granted there is no excuse for the XI who started not putting 3 past Stevenage.

Now, stop laying in to me for moaning about the selection and go and give a kicking to the poster who said Sanson was shit. ;-)

The only obvious mistake for in terms of selection was Olsen. If Emi is fit to play he should always play.

On Bailey - I rate him more than others, but he’s very obviously a massive confidence player. He’s not confident at the moment and I get the impression he’s trying far too hard.

As a cop specialist, he’s gone about his first two cup games in a very odd manner.

I don't think he's arrested our development though.

If there was a game that could be described as quintessentially 21st century Aston Villa that was it. An absolute clown show.

Trying too hard? He could take his shirt back to the club shop tomorrow and get a full refund.

You can see he that’s why he’s losing shape on any shots he takes. We’ve seen what he can do when he’s confident.

And another small irritant, we proved the bbc right in picking our game for an upset. That commentator was practically giddy...

I good goal every 9 or 10 games is nowhere near good enough though, especially with how mediocre the rest of his play is.

It looked like winning a squad number and winning a lucrative contract is all that some of our players ever want to win!!

Hopefully today helped Emery sort the 'wheat from the chaff'.

Embarrassing.  >:(

Eternal optimist here.
Watch Villa go on an amazing, unmatched, modern era unbeaten run that delivers European football next season.
Oh the joys of alcohol.
