Their back 3 all on yellows, we need to get at them more 2nd half.

We have to become harder to beat and more disciplined out of possession. We are doing that. And given we are still often quite wasteful in possession it helps being compact when we lose the ball. But clearly we have a long way to go to get ourselves to be flowing in possession and better on and off the ball. That won’t happen with this set of players. Only a few survive and by August I expect 4 or 5 players to start in place of the current line up (excluding Emi and Cash).

You just have to hope that Bailey has one of his moments.

Second half will be interesting to see where we are as Conti always goes for it after sussing out the opposition in the first half.  If we capitulate I won’t be impressed but if Unai has equally sussed out Spudz this could be season defining

Worst game I've seen for ages. I watched 3 races during that first half.

I must admit I find myself wondering a little more regularly exactly why do the rest of the world find our game so attractive, and worth forking out billions of your hard-earned for.

I think it was suggested when Emery came in that he would get us organised  - we're seeing that today. The next challenge is to get far better in transition: more pace in releasing the frontrunners and better support for them.

We don’t seem to have a clue going forwards. Will Bailey ever take a full back on? Watkins will need at least another 4 clear cut chances to possibly take one of them. Definitely looks like we’ve come for a point.

Cam Archer must be really, really shit in training.

Better organisation at the back. Shit game though. Half of these players won’t be here in a year if Emery still is.

Anyway, the important stuff; anybody else think Redknapp has finally started a slow morph into his dad?

We haven't really taken advantage of Spurs usual slow start. A lot of other teams are usually 1 or 2 up by now.

Still it's early days under Emery so I'm happy to be patient.
