Horrible, but 2 chances to equalise spurned.

Don't be like that Watkins is awesome.

The worst thing about the 2nd is that I reckon Nunez was offside in the buildup to the chance that led to the corner.

Buendia needed to be closer to VVD, far too much space for anyone at a corner.

Ref has started giving them everything.

Cheap goal to give away but Liverpool well on top anyway.

Thank god they have Nunez upfront instead of Mane these days, he's even more wasteful in final third than  Ollie.

I'd like to see a bit more from Buendia. He seems to undercook passes on halfway line and then throw a massive strop, need something from him in final third. At least Bailey is trying to make things happen.

The only difference between the teams is our defenders can't defend, our forwards can't finish and our midfield is completely over run and wasteful in possession. They defend high and rely on the pace of their full backs and Van Dijk to recover/read the situation we defend high and have two daydreamers in Konsa and Mings.

This is a disorganised comedy show at the moment.  We look well short of aggressions, pace, width, movement and quality here.

This is being made much worse by the sound of Clive Tyldesley joyfully pulling one off over Liverpool for 45 minutes.

Still a work in progress.

Massive investment needed in January. Not sure who said our defence look scared with Olsen behind them, but it’s true.

Midfield totally overrun. Attackers can’t finish.

Team still on the beach. Emery has a big job to do, but I still think the future is bright.
