I realise this is a training game, but you’d think two premier league teams with quite string teams would be befitting a better ground and  more than 25 fans.

It’s almost as if no one in the Middle East is interested in football.

Thank God they’ll never be hosting a major tournament over there

We're on the march with Unai's Army
We're going to the UAE
And we'll really shake 'em up
When we win the inaugural CBF Al Wahda Challenge Cup
And we'll celebrate by only drinking tea

Fair play, that’s genuinely excellent:-)

Buendia looking good in this formation.  Maybe Phil will also shine?

1-1 absolutely shit defending from Chambers

Takes an angle at the top of the box to force him on his right foot.. yet he takes a right footed shot and puts it in the bottom left corner. Strange approach.

Pretty clear to me our defenders can’t do what Emery is asking them to do.  Konsa not comfortable and neither is  Chambers

1-2 now

Our pressing has been much better with all forwards and midfielders pressing together but defensively we still look weak.  Carlos needs to get fit quick

Finished 2-2.  You could see what Unai wants to do but the players are just not there yet, and I doubt a few will ever get there eg Konsa and Chambers.  Overall a bit disappointing, I was expecting more
