An old boss of mine was a Stevenage fan, we had a long standing arrangement to meet up if we ever got drawn together but sadly he passed away a couple of years back.

That's a shame.

I had a similar arrangement with a Bristol City supporting mate that we made about 25 years ago. Our relegation meant I went to Ashton Gate and he came to Villa Park for a couple of seasons before he died from cancer at 52.

Stevenage do have a reputation when matched in the Cup against higher league opposition. Although in this case it was Newcastle so they deserved each other with this little rumpus.
