Unbeaten against these for 3 matchin the league. When could we last say that?
Im a sucker for a good stat so I looked it up. Following our last home win in 1995 we then had 3 successive 0-0's.

Eamonn Holmes, Brummie Reds, Angus Deyton, Jim White, Olly Murs, Zoe Ball, Mick Hucknall. Booby Charlton, can you hear me? Booby Charlton ... your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating!

Brummie reds boil my piss.

I’m sat in a pub in Hagley and there must be 50 plastic scousers in here. Vomit.

There was a link between the lines today which has been missing, the defenders were able to move the ball to the midfield more easily, playing out from the back was nowhere near as terrifying as it has been.  Similar;y the midfield was overlapping to draw defenders off of the front 3.  Almost as though there was a plan of how to play...  Excellent.
Exactly this -  I watched a video on Unai's tactics and could see that in our play - the way we were able to paly out from the back in a safe way, and found so much space.

So much better from most of the last decade which can generally be summed up with the phrase - "it looks like they have more players than us"

The ones over the age of 40, particularly. Walking about in their fucking replica shirts. No shame.

Amazingly under 3 different coaches.

95-97, WDDD. Only 6 points, 7 in our current run.

What a hoodoo to dispense with in your first game as our manager. Outstanding. What a brilliant result.

VAR has just chalked off our 3rd and awarded Man Utd a penalty.

and they were ordered to play the 6 mins extra time after the Villa fans went home and the Man U  fans were kept in. Final result Villa 6 Man U 2. LOL

Some very poor behaviour by villa fans today. Rejoicing beating a sky 6 team. No doubt our punishment will come. How dare we do something that might upset the status quo..

What a shame it wasn't on mainstream TV.  Watching them get what they received.  What a difference in just a few days.
