I know that Unai will want European football and he’s aware of the spending constraints we have. None of us know what our room for manoeuvre will be re transfers albeit I expect a lot of players are leaving. It’s really down to that imo. A go at the title is possible I guess but we’re going to need to manage games better when we get injuries, which we will.

To be fair to Guardiola, he has always tended to be decent when we have beaten them. Unlike that twat Arteta who always thinks they were robbed somehow.

Yeah I remember him after we beat them at VP in November. Interviewer asked what happened and he replied, they’re a champions league team - they may not be in it this year but the premier league is hard - but we didn’t do enough. Or something.

No complaints, no whining.
