One thing I do think Unai underestimate is the power of momentum/good feeling…

He talks about positive energy at home games all the time. It’s one of the first things he addressed when he arrived here.

I just have this horrible feeling that we're coming towards the end of something. Hopefully not, but it does feel like it. And the best thing would be to get a trophy out of this period and, honestly, if fucking Ange's Spurs can do it, why can't we?
Agree with all of this.

Yes, but he underestimates what he is in control of and what he can do to transmit positive energy.

I'm clinging to the thought that it all started to feel a bit "end of days" at the start of the season and we turned it around. Maybe we can do so again. I think we will pretty much know whether we are still in it or we have given up by the end of the Man U game so the suffering shouldn't be prolonged, at least.

Yes it was only a few weeks ago, we had hoped the final game v city would be meaningless as we’d have already cemented our top five position. Now it could be meaningless for the opposite reason!

He should sit himself and the players in front of today’s games and go - this is how teams score goals, they’re quite important.

It really doesn't matter.

Nothing really matters at all.

I know its utterky premature and i am in no way advocating unai leaving but if we didn't  get CL and a CL club came in for him. It wouldnt shock me if he went now saying he taking us far as he can.

It would worry  me as i think unai is the one having us where we are.the team we have is average.  I think most of other managers would struggle to better what unai has.

One manager if that did happen, i would like us to look at is foncesa.good manager  and doing well at lyon

If we don't get CL I reckon the summer could see a lot of changes. I'm not convinced Unai will stay.

Nor me. No money to spend again, he can’t get this current squad any further some serious additions

If that is the case it’s a huge concern. We have basically set up the entire footballing structure of the club for Unai - probably entirely necessarily to get and keep him. The results bear out it’s been more than worth it, but we’re basically entirely reliant on him supporting a transition when he decides to leave. It’s a big continuity risk.

Tony Soprano vibes.
