What would be the best spot for his statue, do you think?

In all the places you can fit a statue. Make loads. Like Buddhas everywhere

I saved this pic many many years ago. As for some reason the timestamp is “6 March 1286270” it’s always my most recent photo in my phone album. First time it’s come in useful.

My answer though would be in front of the quadruple mural, just outside the villa museum trophy room they had to extend. Again.

Been at the club for coming up to two years.  What a transformation in that time and tantalising to think what might be ahead.

Apologies. I will bid you good ebening.

(I still have absolutely no idea why, of all the managers with accents, British or foreign, people choose to attach this to Unai. I found it baffling even back when he was Arsenal manager. It's not as if the media was awash with Rab C Nesbitt impressions when Ferguson was at Man Utd.)

They were scared of Ferguson. Plenty have taken the piss out of Ardiles and Hodgson, off the top of my head.

Was that the bloke who was on Sky Sports News earlier?  They just don't seem to be aware of the set up Unai Emery has at Villa and how that couldn't be replicated at clubs like Manchester United.

We are just so lucky to have Mr. Emery and his team at our football club - hopefully he will be here for many seasons to come.

The bloke is absolutely clueless. He also said Villa have already won enough points to qualify for the Europa League, (which is what he thinks happens if you finish 9th-24th), and we might even get top 8 and stay in the Champions League.

Note: his full-time job is to write and talk about football.

Anyway, Unai Emery. Watching the game for the third time (once live, twice on the telly), pictures of him walking up the touchline straight after the CL anthem brought tears to my eyes. What he’s done for this club that I love so much has actually moved me to tears of joy.

That and a bit of sleep deprivation

And, how did Unai know that Jhon needed a 'toilet break' two minutes before Jhon knew he needed a toilet break.

If Jhon had of stayed on and did a 'dump' on the pitch it is probably a bookable offence. Footy-Ville's expertise on this front would be appreciated.

Unai analyses everything.

A genius.

What would be the best spot for his statue, do you think?

In Aston Park, at the top of the hill, gazing down over his adoring kingdom.

Might be out of the way slightly but you wouldn't be able to miss it because it would be 200m tall.  They'd have to put a beacon on the top for any flights coming in to Elmdon.

Yes, it needs to be seen from orbit.
