Good interview, nothing ground breaking, full of lots of the usual Unai positives, praised the club, the supporters, the owners, the players.
Commented that maybe more players will leave as we have a squad of 25, and that there are 17 days left of the transfer window.
Wouldn't get drawn into comments about Arsenal or possible Champions league  opponents, except said that he's never won at West Ham, and he's looking forward to CL, and wants us to play more than the 8 group games.
All very positive, and his energy is brilliant, makes me excited for the season

What came across for me is how much he wants to win. I really think we will trophies under this manager.

The guy is just pure class and we are very fortunate to have him. Ditto Monchi and the whole recruitment team.

We are just a classy club. Time for a trophy I think....

Nice to hear from Stelling (who's a presenter I have a lot of time for) just how welcoming Villa were compared to other clubs.

Monchi - we don’t need to have set meetings every day to talk about transfer players because we meet and talk every day anyway

They are definitely a close-knit unit both socially and work wise, at least we know all the beans are on the same slice of toast when it comes to overall strategy

Unai Emery depicted as Superman in the David Squires cartoon in the Guardian.

I think it was a masterstroke from the club. Im sure that will help with relations with the media how they percieve us

I also did really like stelling too. Great pundit

I think we can all count on Emery being far too decent a man to ever wear his pants on the outside.

I can recognise a few but I’m mostly struggling with that tbh.

And also flying. Do vampires fly?*

* obviously I am not referring to the De Havilland Vampire jet, one of the truly iconic post war British jets. That was one vampire that could certainly fly. I saw one of them at that little aircraft museum in Coventry a few years ago. Amazing plane, mostly wooden, at least the dashboard was. One of them flew over our house en route to an airshow last year, it was an amazing sight. Really iconic design.**

** but, I digress.
