It could have done with a sub de-waffling in a couple of places, but I also think it's a fine article. It gets its subject. I like that our general competence is so Brummie in its understatement. You can't convincingly add hyperbole when talking about our side, manager, club or results.

I also like that the rewriting of the rewrite of his time at Arsenal is starting to take hold.

Lyrics from the song "let it be" - is the best Unai Emery chant that i have heard

His name also fits "you're shit and you know you are" perfectly.

Unai, Unai Emery.

Over and over again.

Obviously he isn't shit though.

It doesn’t matter how well we’ve played this is what we are up against. Unai still hasn’t won Manager of the Month and none of our players have been recognized for anything this season. Man U after beating mostly shit opponents and unconvincingly at that, are rewarded with a clean sweep.

I can't believe that Garnacho is foreign, he looks an atypical Manc scally mouthy little prick.

I wouldn't have said that beating Spurs and Fulham and losing to Forest is better than their three wins though.

It was only three games for most teams in November because of the international break, and they won all three of theirs. Meh, who cares anyway?

Apparently nobody has picked up as many points as we have done since September. The timing allows for the adjustments new signings had to make and the squad adjusting for the injured players we had.

Harry Maguire as Player of the Month, eh?

Seems legit.

Indeed. All it says is that we've been consistently really good all season and a few other teams have had great months and terrible months. I'll take our way of doing things.

Didn't realise Southgate decides the PotM.

It was more a comment on the clean sweep of awards. How Maguire is player of the month is just a little odd and manufactured given the criticism he’s got. Not saying he hasn’t played well, but the best of all they could choose?

Is it voted on? In which case the BeijingRed4Life types might have swelled the numbers.

I've not watched any of their games, so I don't know. But I do know that if a team wins all their matches, their manager will probably get manager of the month.

On the player, I dunno. Maybe Gordon for a goal against Chelsea and a goal against Arsenal? It's not as if there was any player that was an obvious alternative for scoring loads of goals. So give it to a defender for not conceding any goals in the month. Lindelof only played two of the three games, so it's not a crazy choice.

I don't really have an issue with Garnacho getting the best goal either. Although Olise's was nice too.

The panel of ex perts must have been Garth Crooks, Gareth Southgate and Harry Maguire himself.
