I can understand why women complain that, even when things are going well, men talk too much about their exes.

Any bloke who spends time talking to his Mrs about his ex, either doesn’t like his current partner much or is a complete dick.

I think Smith would have too much pride to do an ambassador type role, and it would also be weird for Emery to have such a recent manager hanging round the place. Give it ten years, maybe. Dean Smith is only 52, I'm sure he's not done with management yet, he just needs to pick his next job a bit more carefully.
Agree totally with this.  As much as I adore the bloke, coming back to the club now isn't the right thing for either him or us.

Not specifically Emery but about the influence Pako Ayestarán brings to the club. Peter Crouch speaks of him glowingly from his time at Liverpool

Id love to know what Gerard thinks about it all.

A top coach needs to be single minded and, to an extent, have a big ego, but he must be questioning whether he’s cut out for management considering the difference between now and then.

Yeeaah, course.

One good thing, no, there are lots of good things about his departure but one that used to really get on my wick were those insufferable You tubers doing unfunny impersonations of Gerrard.
I had to block that ‘comedian’ on Twitter

Just to make our win over Wham! look even better -

Quote
...under Moyes, West Ham don't get thrashed very often. In the 190 games he's taken charge over the four years since his return, we've conceded four or more goals and lost by three or more on just six occasions each. That's just over 3% of fixtures in the last four years where we've been thrashed.

There's always smoke with song ideas but I've seen a lot for this on twitter/x. Got to agree it would be special.

Fucking hell  I can't stop singing it. Brilliant in its simplicity.

This has to be introduced

I posted this a couple of months ago. https://twitter.com/WhatTheForkLads/status/1697667044118814903

Think it would be a great song, hopefully it gains traction.

Don't like the bit 'Super Unai comes to me'.

There's someone sounds better. Or even just Unai Emery.

What a gaffer we have now. Best manager I’ve known at the villa in my lifetime even if he does look like an Alan partridge Dracula hybrid! Love the bloke
