I can understand why women complain that, even when things are going well, men talk too much about their exes.
I think Smith would have too much pride to do an ambassador type role, and it would also be weird for Emery to have such a recent manager hanging round the place. Give it ten years, maybe. Dean Smith is only 52, I'm sure he's not done with management yet, he just needs to pick his next job a bit more carefully.

...under Moyes, West Ham don't get thrashed very often. In the 190 games he's taken charge over the four years since his return, we've conceded four or more goals and lost by three or more on just six occasions each. That's just over 3% of fixtures in the last four years where we've been thrashed.
