What a bloody manager we have. If we get recruitment right in the summer we’re going to be in serious business.

He’s the real deal isn’t he? I can’t believe what he’s done here. I knew with Dougie there was massive potential, same to some extent with Ramsey. But what he’s done with the rest of the squad is just incredible. Not just the improvement but the levels of consistency now. Manager of the season without a shadow of doubt.

With Unai I don't worry about Villa, I know everything will be OK.

Hes a level above anything in my time supporting villa (since BFR).  We have had some good managers in that time, and people like Sir Brian who Ill always love, but he is just amazing.  World Class gets thrown around - but he must be one of the top 5 managers in the world and we have him.

He will outwork everyone. That’s what I know. He literally takes nothing for granted. And obviously that doesn’t guarantee wins, but it will always give us the best possible chance to get positive results in every single game.

He is in absolute control of every single thing we do. He's a phenomenon.

You know that as soon as he got on the coach to come home he’d have been on his laptop analysing Brighton.

I saw a few questioning his team selection today and smiled. I shut my mouth. Seriously, wtf do I know? That first half performance proved he nailed it (again).

He is what a manager should be - focussed on detail, constantly developing and improving his craft. There are so many “managers” who appear to barely try at all.

I used to go in to a game sometimes thinking 'we're going to get hammered here', that just isn't the case anymore. I know that even if we lose, we'll at least have been competitive. The glorious, glorious bastard.

You know when you're a kid and your mom tucks you in to bed at night and you feel so safe and cared for? That's how Unai makes me feel as a Villa fan. Unai is caring for the club and tucking us all into bed every night.

Our premiership years usually have me wishing it all over before it is. Now, I want it to carry on because of Emery. Never have I felt this before. I did in the late 70s but the Premiership years, the first one apart, never till Emery.
