Well, he'll be an alliance. My theory is somewhat flawed on eyes on players behaviours and reporting back to Emery due to Moreno understanding of English and what's being said by others, but I feel Gerrard would not have signed him, and Emery can discuss things aswell as communication being straightforward with Moreno and the coaches.
He'll be an asset for the team and coaches for sure.

Emery is not going to limit his range to solely players who can speak Spanish.

I'm still smiling at the thought of the Scottish Cafu translating for McLeish.

James Collins comes in to Bodymoor after a night out with Richard Dunne, and the training is making him feel sick.

"Hey boss, James says his heid is splittin', he was pure mad wae it last night. All this spruntin is geein him the boak."

For those who want extra beef or las carne de res in our squad.
These Colombians are out of contract in summer and would give the physicality some want. Also they would help Duran and have an understanding of English already but are able to speak spainish and understand Emery tactics.

Centre back Yerry Mina
Midfield Jefferson Lerma
Forward Alfredo Morelos

Kylian Mbappe speaks fluent Spanish1. Is he signing him too?

1 Well, he probably did 5 years of it at school as a second language

I don't think Moreno is much of an upgrade on Digne, and I still think it's a bit odd that the only senior player we brought in was another left back.
Totally agree - same when Digne came in. However, I wonder whether Emery has the same idea as teams like Arsenal, where one fullback is more like an additional midfielder (look at some of Zinchenko's positions on Saturday) and the other is more defensively-minded.
I think that's exactly what he's got in mind.  Same for our wider players, one will drop in more towards the 10 position than the other.  It's quite an asymmetric formation.

As for Moreno, the way he carries the ball and gets into the box is far better than Digne.  Not so noticeable Saturday as we were pushed back, but when he came on against Leicester the difference was clear.

Moreno work ethic is much greater than Digne. Has more energy up and down. As well as pacey.
Yes I highlighted the tactical system and concern on Cash and difference when Young plays in discussion thread Matt Cash.

On left backs Antonio Luna played under Emery though he was called Tony Moon when in England.
