Even through difficult moments or a bad couple of weeks, we really need to understand how lucky we are. He is such a good
Manager, and seemingly a nice guy. I just hope we have him for years.

I’m embarrassed to have slated Unai (many times) but tonight he got it spot on. He is clearly our best manager for a very long time, I just wish we played that way more often.

That’s the point of why we can’t play like that all of the time. We haven’t the squad, we haven’t the quality in depth. That’s way we sometimes play it slow, so we can be consistent throughout a whole season, which since he’s arrived we’ve been generally very good. At times it doesn’t work and we lose.

Qualified for Europe well ahead of schedule, semi-finals three years running and a Champions League quarter final.

We'd better win on Thurs or he can do one.

He's a genius, he can stay as long as he wants.

I hope he doesn't go to Real Madrid: it's a bigger circus than Manure!

Have been asking for Lindy playing in DM for such a long time.
When I saw the line up tonight I thought yes we will smash them.
Emery. Please keep Lindy.

We also can't recruit very well.

some of his recruits got us over the line last night - Lindelof, Rogers and Tielemans. But recruitment needs to be better.

Did he bring in Tielemans? My memory is so unreliable

All that anger from Sunday washed away now, guys?

He's three steps ahead this fella. Doesn't always work, but works way more often than anyone who has managed us in the last 40 years. Don't let him leave.

Be in no doubt that Arteta is a cert for Manager of the year if he wins something which I believe he will. But when you factor in the budget difference and pull of playing in London against Emery having one hand tied behind his back in Birmingham - which let's face it probably isn't twinned with Monaco - and gets us Champions league football and (hopefully) the second most prestigious European trophy after the champions league, he isn't very good, Top-tier clubs looking for a new manager - this is not the manager you are looking for, repeat after me "this is not the manager we are looking for".
The bloke is an utter genius.

Sounds like the typical response and timing for that kind of thing.  Fuck em.
