I'm assuming that bednarek is playing as extra defensive height against to Mitrovic.

It's brave, I'll give it that.

I'm struggling to recall exactly which game it was when Sherwood picked a one-man midfield. I had a similar thought then.

Is Guilbert still here? Did he make the 25 man PL squad?
No I don't think so, a late loan move fell through from memory, and now he's in the bomb squad 🤷🏼

Freddie played as a central midfielder for the U21s a week or so ago

Telltale signs of a manager coming to the end of his tenure:

1) “I won’t walk away” / “I won’t hide” comments
2) Kamikaze, throw all the strikers on substitutions
3) Bizarre team selections/formations

He was named late on in the 25 man squad for the PL.

Three at the back isn’t it?

    Konsa  Bednarek. Mings

Bailey                            Young

        McGinn  Luiz

              Ramsey

       Ings      Watkins

I am guessing anyway

Why not play Chambers then who's been always excellent for us. And then it means either Bailey wing back or konsa right back. What the actual fuck

♫  You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not.. ♫

This is a chancer’s last stand. Five defenders at Fulham, I’m fuming. We don’t have the mobility to pull it off, but Fulham just might be shit enough to give us an opportunity to win.

Please take three points here Villa.

It's more of a resignation letter.

Did anyone see Konsa at right back at Elland Road? Can't remember the last time I saw a footballer so scared stiff of the ball when he was expected to do something other than clear it.

If it is just 433 with those changes, couple of questions… does he think Konsa is a better RB option than Cash, or is Cash slightly injured? And does he think Dendonker is a better CB than Chambers? Or is it Dendonker to RB? Can he play there?
Dendonker isn’t playing.

McGinn and Watkins start no matter what, re the midfield it looks like Sanson and Nakamba will never set foot on the pitch again for our club.

I very much doubt it's 5 at the back. I seem to remember Konsa did quiet well defensively as a right back after the COVID break. Not sure about getting forward.
