Yeah, I had striker. The one I had came with Man United and Newcastle, strangely, as neither were that good then.

Think mine was just red shirts against blue rather than specific teams. Got it as a Xmas present from my uncle who seemed to enjoy playing it as much as I did.

Why have South Korea picked this rubbish Son instead of the one that always scores seven goals a game against Villa?

Draw as both these teams are capable of  going through at CR7's expense.

Ha… same with my dad. He loved it. My mate had the one with generic blue and red kits, it was a slightly older version, I think. Mine was called All Star Super Striker, or something like that.

Having dispensed with white middle aged male Lawrenson in an act of shameful bias against white middle aged men, the next cab off the rank is white middle aged male Danny Murphy who's style and delivery makes a Vuvuzele sound like sweet music.

Fuck's sake.

That Uruguay kit is a thing of beauty

Absolutely, probably my favourite international kit and this one is spot on.

I had that as a Subbuteo set as a kid 😀

Because you liked the kit or because they were the World Cup champions then?
I liked the kit. They weren’t Champions at the time.
For some reason I also had Watford. Again I think I liked the kit. I also  had Anderlecht.  Of course I had the Villa who always won😀😀😀

Interesting Subbuteo fact.
The Guy who invented it was a bird spotter. Subbuteo Subbuteo is the Latin name of a British Bird of prey called a Hobby.  So he thought he’d call his game Subbuteo as it was a new Hobby. 😀😀

Danny Murphy is another of the sour-faced former player brigade who doesn't seem to be able to do anything without looking like he's half way through the worst dump of his life.
