Well, he ditched the five at the back nonsense for the first game and they scored six, so hopefully he doesn't go back to it.

With our defense, the best means of defense is attack!!

I just hope Southgate grows the balls to go for it.

It’s what all England fans have wanted, utilise the talent we have in the attacking third. I can sort of understand the way he has played tournament football in the past as if you keep it tight you have a chance but its just frustrating when you look at the players we have. We’ll see what happens but I wouldn’t trust England to hold a lead when faced with wave  after wave of attacks as the semi final and final previously can testify.

Do you mean dee-fense  as in that silly game they play in NA or defence as in football? ;)

Absolutely, probably my favourite international kit and this one is spot on.

Yep. And it would look really shit if they had to go with light blue shorts and socks to match, so glad they ignored that trend.

Because you liked the kit or because they were the World Cup champions then?

I had Villa, Man U and Ipswich. Man U and Ipswich were both handed down from a Bluenose uncle who purchased the latter because he was unable to get Blues and they were close enough.

I never had a Subbuteo set but used to love a game of 'Striker' in the late 70s.

Yeah, I had striker. The one I had came with Man United and Newcastle, strangely, as neither were that good then.
