*Midweek Pub Quiz in some dimly lit tavern on the outskirts of Birmingham*

Quizmaster: "When was the last time a Villa sponsor or manager went on to better things?"

*Blank faces look-up at him from their tables*

Quizmaster: "I will take one of either..."

Even the mighty Mita Copiers didn't last into the new millennium https://global.kyocera.com/inamori/profile/episode/episode09.html

Acorns - are they still going?

AST computers,Rover, LDV Vans, NTL……

Last manger who went on to bigger things? Sir Graham, and that ended in disaster.

A lot were bought out by bigger companies, eg Mita and AST Computers. I'd guess most of the online gaming firms are still going strong.

Cadbury to Villa should be what Walkers was to Leicester, Colman's to Norwich and Newcastle Brown Ale to the horse punchers.

Just think of all the Bournville / Born Villa marketing opportunities it would afford.

Ah, LDVans Vans. What a stupid name. Some branding merchant shat the bed that day.

Cadbury sponsor the Aussie rugger-bugger team I think, along with Land Rover. Weird having 2 Brum originated firms sponsoring teams on the other side of the world.

I think that there’s a couple of Cadburys factories in Oz.
