Sigh…I cannot begin to describe how disappointing Leon Bailey has been. Everything we see on a weekly basis. And in the 70th he had a one on one with the full back in full flow and simply lost all control of it. 20 left so maybe there is some magic left in those boots but he’s been really poor all night.

Edit: ended 2-2. Final comment on Leon. He didn’t play well. He’s the player the Jamaican’s look to for inspiration.  But the longer the game went on the more deflated and demoralized he became. And after he blew that opportunity in the 70th his head had gone. Trotting back, hiding from the ball a bit. It was a real shame to see.

Sounds like his Villa performances.
Obvious talent but piss poor mentality.

I see Conte has now left Tottenham, and the assistant manager will be in charge of the remainder of the season, starting with Everton away next Monday.

I really hope he's moved on in the summer, he's been a dreadful waste of money.

I have to laugh at the BBC article on Maddison.

"Is he un-droppable after impressive first England start?" - Yes because he doesn't play for the "big" teams as Grealish found out when still at Villa.

Then this comment about how long it took from his substitute debut until a first start.

Quote
Injuries and form had denied the 26-year-old the chance to make that full international debut earlier, but he certainly made up for lost time with a promising display at Wembley.

Again, as shown with his picks in the first match, injuries and form mean nothing to Southgate if you are one of his favourites and play at certain clubs. Look at Phillips, Maguire, Rice ........

England have been utter garbage against a very very poor team who couldn't even get a shot on target. But it's another win for the fraudster of a manager that we have lol

It was very poor viewing but worth it for Saka's goal. Other than that, Henderson is a waste of a shirt, Maddison was okay in flashes but nothing more.  I guess there was no urgency as there didn't need to be any as Ukraine were shockingly bad.

Not a bad half from Ireland, 0-0.

They are playing well. France may have underestimated the Irish spirit.

Commentator talking himself out of a job. After 20 seconds he said ' You know all the players so you may as well do your own commentary'.  :)

You just feel that if the French step it up a gear they'll end up with a comfortable win.

You never know though...

Yes, that's what you'd expect and they've looked threatening on a couple of occasions. An unexpected point would be most welcome though.

The Dutch are only beating Gibraltar 1-0 at home so maybe they're poorer than we thought.

There you go, one mistake and you're punished. Great strike by Pavard.

I don't know, I'm watching on Irish TV (RTE). Ask Nev or Baldy. :)
