3-0 Mbappe. Piece of piss.

That's the group won, you can now take it easy on Monday and enjoy the Dublin hospitality.

About 20 years ago I was in Dublin for work and we had a cab pick us up at the airport. We started to chat football and the driver explained he had played for one of the Dublin teams in the 60s /70s (cent remember which one now) and amazingly they qualified for Europe. Their Swiss opponents did their homework and invited the team on a brewery tour the day before the game and let them stay for the evening. The next day they had raging hangovers and got hammered 4 or 5 nil.

Worth a try I reckon!

That was rumoured to be the tactic employed when Ireland beat the West Indies by nine wickets in 1969. That match took place in Sion Mills in Co. Tyrone of all places.

Scotland v Cyprus is live on Viaplay Sports, no I idea, who they are, other than you have to pay a sub of £15 pm, so I won't be watching it.

Do you remember when the government said they had to stop the Sky monopoly with football and, how it would be good for football fans, money wise, for there to be competition? Now all I see is more and more entrants coming onto the scene and carving up the football with more and more subscriptions. Viaplay are just the latest. We’ll soon reach the point where we will have to pay for each individual competition. Stuff them as I’m not paying any more with any new channels.

An iPlayer equivalent platform from Fox Sport so extra reason for not watching.

McTominay scored twice.
I wouldn't be averse to having him in at Villa as he's likely to leave Man Utd in summer.
McGinn quite rates him too and they would work well together in some games and gives us more of a competitive squad in midfield

Newcastle  supposed to be interested in Scott McTominay and he's a strong, experienced midfielder who would also give the work ethic and physicality.  I sooner have him than Dendoncker.

Hadn't noticed Armenia had been drawn in the same groups Turkey, Jesus.
