Can somebody explain the point of VAR if it’s not to ensure consistency of decisions? I would love to see a referee try to explain the difference between that and our non-penalty yesterday - they’d have to get into linguistic contortions that even Boris Johnson would find difficult.

It doesn't work because it's subjective. The team of officials yesterday thought different to those of today. That can never be overcome so by it's very design VAR doesn't work.

Now without VAR the same situation could arise where one refs sees it and gives it and one doesn't but that is what VAR was claimed to eliminate. It won't it never will. Leave it to the onfield officials and ditch this abomination.

For the record, neither should be penalties.

He doesn't need to be sacked as his contract is up in three months.  That said, the excellent negotiator extrordinaire, Daniel Levy, will probably step in to pay him millions to fuck him off as this is the done thing with spuds.

So who will be next up for them when he's gone ? They have got through a fair few.
Tuchel Poch Sherwood  ;)
They'd better keep their hands off Unai!

It's been a really good, proper FA Cup match.

Just heard Conte’s rant. So basically Levy, the whole cub, the players are all ******😂 of course he’s done well for his £15M a year.

Just watching the Wolves vs Leeds highlights. Supposedly a top manager, good players and they got battered at home. What’s funnier is the 4th Leeds goal shouldn’t have stood for a clear foul to shiny arms but even on review the ref gave it. In the aftermath someone got sent off from the Wolves bench. All falling apart. Mind the gap lads.

They're cheeky twats. No marks finished above is 3 or 4 times in 40 odd years and have the cheek to sing about us.

Since we came back up, or even the season before when they went up as Champions, they've been my least favourite set of fans.

Unbearable, self important ******
