Yay, a point at home. Go fucking us. I know you can say it's only the nation's league and all that, but we all know it's not like Southgate's keeping his powder dry for November. This is as good as it'll get.

Just checked on Paddy Power - 62/1 double for Iran to beat England and Japan to beat Germany in opening games….those two teams tonight were garbage

That was a Carson-esque performance from Pope.

Well that 15 min spell does give me hope we might make the KO stages, Stourbridge boy MOTM superb tonight.

Delighted for England, for a while there I was afraid there at 0-2 you might have to get rid of Southgate.

Careful Gary, if he goes he may have an Irish granny and the IFA could give him a call

I'd imagine he'd be more concerned about the FAI getting in touch. 🙂

The IFA are welcome to him, it's only the FAI I'm worried about. ;)

To come later. Interviewer. “Was it a mistake to pick McGuire? Southgate “I thought Mason Mount did very well when he came on”
Hahaha spot on

Excellent.

He did play well though, him and Saka with Bellingham looked excellent. Shaw looked decent in that spell as well once we decided to play with more intent. Shaw’s actually decent when on the front foot.

Southgate is not doing Maguire any favours playing him. He’s so unfit and looks a shadow of that player we had in the Euros. There’s a reason why he’s been dropped my Man Utd. Southgate is making it worse for him.

20 decent minutes in 6 Nations League games. Barring flukes, England go no further than the round of 16.

Jude Bellingham had a good game, Declan Rice also but some of those players were poor tonight.

All of the German goals came from mistakes, two by Maguire and one from Pope.

Bellingham has been absolutely world class again, one of the guaranteed starters now surely.

Pope has totally fucked his chance.

Saka has to start

Yes, but when Gareth starts him, it was as a Wing-back on the wrong side wasn't it?

But think how much worse it would have been if we had played the accident prone Mings instead of the rock solid MacGuire.

Many years ago Andy Gray was not picked for the Scotland team that had a disastrous competition. He went on to have a half decent career.
Tyrone will be better not becoming involved with England until Shitgate gets “ moved upstairs”.

Southgate presser was telling, he looked close to tears, hands shaking, voice a quiver.
If it wasn't for the fact that the WC is only 2 months away, you would bet he was on his way.
What a mess, going into the final 2 warm up games and limiting his options so much is just plain dim. The 5 at the back is horrible and it looks like all he has done is create disharmony in the camp.
