Kill me now but, come on FTA! Albrighton having a blinder already.

I didn't know he'd gone there, sad times.

He's been a joy to watch tbh! Always nice to know that he's a huge Villa fan in these situations tho.

Be nice if he scored and had a Villa top on underneath

Albion currently in a play-off position, not that long since they were relegation candidates.

All that fucking money and they're getting the runaround by their tiny neighbours. Quel do-fuckin'-mmage.

Another vote for Man Utd. I hate them, but winning the League Cup will mean nothing to their supporters. I'd much rather Newcastle were deprived of it (and ideally, burn out spectacularly in the PL).

Same here. The likes of Man U and Man City are so far ahead of us in most major honours that another one doesn't make that much difference to them, and their fans often don't bother to stay for the trophy presentation. I'm quite happy for Newcastle to remain potless in living memory.

Newcastle will be looking to win their first domestic trophy in a competition that didn't even exist when they did last win a domestic trophy.
