Nothing goes right for them, they bottle it, and we run out 2-0 winners in a straight forward and strangely calm win. Grealish cries, we laugh at him.

I’m going out for a long boozy lunch, can’t bare the sycophantic Sky scab 6 love in fest. Leeds being relegated will make me happy.

So let’s look at that Aston Villa at the Emptyhad record since they moved there……On the other hand let’s not.

I was there for both the victories the 2-0 under MON and the remarkable League Cup win where I nearly stayed in the pub as I thought we’d get mullered. Other than that I don’t think we’ve ever got a draw and have lost every other game. I’m going anything less than 3-0 and the moral victory will be ours.

Funnily enough I think we’ll get something here, possibly a 2-2 with us scoring, them equalising and us scoring again only to see them snatching a draw in the last minute. Just a feeling. It is the last day

Citeh coasting most the game at 2-0.
Grealish comes off bench last 10 minutes, gives away pen and then puts through his own goal.
2-2 draw and he's won fuck all. Mings laughing offers to swap shirts with a blarting Grealish at the end as our fans sing "Villa till I die".

Their defence was rotten v West Ham, individually and collectively. So think Watkins could have some joy against them. I'm assuming Nakamba will come back in with Ramsey dropping out. I think they will beat us with a late goal, maybe from our former talisman....

Heavy defeat.

Mahrez and De Bruyne to score anytime.

Reminder that M6 junction 8-10 has major roadworks. We got stuck in that lot when travelling up to Burnley. It took an hour to get through it.

Avoid at all costs. I work near Junction 9,  they are dismantling the bridge that goes across at Junction 10 this weekend. All traffic both ways has to leave the motorway go round the island and rejoin.
Pay to use the toll road or head up the A5 by Cannock and get on there.

Grealish to stay benched for the whole game studying a map of the world.

I'm going to this game my head says 2-0 loss but my heart says 1-1 draw.

As they said on the excellent The Villa Podcast: “Imagine hearing the deathly silence at the Etihad at 5 to 6 and for once there’s an actual reason for it”.

If by some chance we were to scrape a draw, you know the scousers would fuck it up too.
