Martinez is embarrassing doing this time wasting

Why is it embarrassing?

It’s not. Now he gets a little carried at times but he takes the sting out of the opponents play and pisses them off. I’m fine with it

I just don't like it. He does it whenever he can. Hes such a decent chap as well. Rather unsporting if you ask me.
He'll take a yellow card for what?

If it helps us take the sting out of Burnley's hoofball caveman tactics, I don't see the issue with it all.

Unsporting? The mind boggles, Footy.

Carry on please, Emi.

Sorry - FOOTY?? (report to moderator) :)

No buts.
Ings is showing his striking prowess and feel he could have a nice little run to the end of season.
Interesting without Coutinho and Ramsey as well but some of the football was made very well and the second goal was great.
I think Digne showing some class today considering he wa supposed to be finished for the season
Hope he gets the next direct free kick opportunity

Excellent first half performance by the outfielders there.
Up the Villa

Smith’s still not coming back Footy.

For those of us not watching, is Chambers playing defensive mid?  If so, how's he doing in there? We deserve to be 2-0 up?

As far as Emi goes, it's the sort of thing we'd give pelters to if he was playing for the opposition, but he's not so who cares? His antics make me laugh. My favourtite player by far.

HT 2-0. Well that was alright wasn’t it? We need to get a third to wrap this up. They will come at us again. Great to see overall our defending being a lot more compact as a team.

Buendia has been superb but the scoreline is flattering us I think. Our goal is leading a bit of a charmed life. Konsa is a bag of nerves and Chambers is offering no protection to the centre backs. I'm wondering if Gerrard will be tempted to hook one of Konsa or Chambers and bring in a proper midfielder instead. Whenever we try and play through the lines we look like we could hammer them. But Martinez going direct is only playing into their hands. Next goal crucial.

yea he is.

We’ve played ok. They’ve had far too much of the ball for my liking. McNeill is playing well. We’re too casual at times. Especially Konsa at the end of the first half. If they score the next goal we could easily collapse.

Eh? They'd have scored two or three without Emi's saves.

It’s bollocks and just his way at having a snide dig at Emi Martinez.
I refuse to focus on that anymore we're 2-0 up and hopefully well on way to quality 3pts. We can all have our views so no more said on time wasting antics of Emi Martinez
Great if we take this win and get us in to top 10.
Liking the Ings play today and maybes he refreshed Similarly Buendia always a hive of activity good goals.

Like a CB playing in midfield. Picked for his height but I can't recall him winning a header.

Thanks mate.  McNeill is a very good player.

2 x stupid cards and some unforced errors at the back but overall in control without being that good.
