No way can I see a 2-0 to us score line as can’t see us scoring 2 plus, can’t see Spurs not scoring. Maybe a lot closer than most of us think but I’d snap your hand off for a draw.

Hope Stephen Gerrard's Aston Villa can pull off a shock this weekend.
Yes what better way to show he is fit for Liverpool then guiding his plucky underdogs to an unlikely victory with his sheer famousness

Isn't Marv fit for this game? I thing SG is desperate to bring him on.

He should be on the bench, if he starts he won't be lasting more than an hour.

Not sure how the team is going to look as feels like Ollie or Ings upfront on their own and they'd just get submerged by their three CBs. One of Bentancur or Hojiberg will likely sit on Coutinho. Perhaps we'll start Buendia aswell but would leave us outnumbered in central midfield unless he plays deep.

And with form Kane is in he'll find all sorts of space between our defence and midfield and dragging out Mings or Konsa for Son to run into.

Probably one of Gerrard's most difficult selections since becoming our manager as it feels a bit of a nightmare match up.

I wouldn't actually be against bringing in Chambers and switching to 3-5-2 and just matching them up and seeing what happens but then I assume it's a formation Gerrard hasn't played in his managerial career so would be alien to him compared to Conte who uses it at every club he manages.
tend to agree with the 3-5-2. What we’ve done in the last three matches, hasn’t worked and a full strength Spurs are arguably a better side than Wolves  and Arsenal. If not the 3-5-2, then maybe bring Nakamba back in, but it’s a massive ask for somebody with no first team football for so long.

My lad predicts 0-3. He's definitely a Villan.

It was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek

If Nakamba is fit to start I'd be interested to see us play two DMs in a 4-2-3-1 (or 4-4-1-1)

Cash  Konsa   Mings   Digne
          Nakamba   Luiz
Buendia     Coutinho     Ramsey
                  Ings

I guess he'll never leave McGinn out but this would make us a bit more solid and we'd still have plenty of flair on the field.

You could swap McGinn for Buendia.

Yes that would work.  But I love Buendia and felt with the two 6's we could use the extra creativity.  I also think McGinn could do with being taken out for a game or so.
