  I don't think my memory is betraying me on this one: I was at that match at Goodison and we were stood in the paddock up towards the Gwladys Street end, as Denis broke through this Scouser yelled 'He's gonna do to us what he did to Liverpool the other week'.  He wasn't wrong.

• Born on exactly the same day as my older brother.
  He played in the Birmingham AFA and his number of European Cup winners medal is only one less.
