Man for man we're a better team - other than Bisouma, how many of their players would we really want?  Probably Lamptey, possibly Dunk or Webster?

2-0 loss.

I don't want to hear anything from Gerrard, anything from the players, see anything from the training pitch. Just fuckin win the game.

Because if we lose this and the Rugby its going to be a miserable weekend.

I could SG going with this sort of line up likes of Young Chambers and Ings from the start for experience when we need a result. Konsa brought in . Cash rested.
0-0 or maybe a sneaky 0-1
Martinez
Chambers
Konsa
Mings
Digne

McGinn
Young
Ramsey

Buendia
Ings
Coutinho
Chambers at right back will be a disaster; far too slow.
Young in midfield - please not.

I'd challenge Cash to reverse his Watford performance and bring in Sanson or Carney in the middle.

Thought we'd beat Watford last weekend and come into this one feeling reasonably good about ourselves.

Brighton don't do enough with the possession they have but if we keep giving the ball away with the regularity that we have been doing recently then it's going to be a long 90 minutes.

Hope for a 1-1, fear a 0-1 or a 0-2.

For those of you who are coming by train and haven't got round to checking for any service disruption do note the closures down here this week - https://www.southernrailway.com/travel-information/plan-your-journey/service-updates?uq=637812285488020000#INC6FAA51E7524D4C8EBD6A77185D8B1464. Still haven't got over the Nov 2016 nightmare trying to get away from the Amex.

It will be a lovely Monday morning in the office if we win.

I have very little faith in this Aston Villa side. Prove me wrong! No chit chat just win. If you can’t win, try really hard. Our motto is Prepared, not under-prepared.

So we get a referee doing his 3rd ever premier league game. One of the previous 2 being a Brighton game.

If we lose this, then the record for the last 10 games will be worse than the 10 games Dean had this season.

Our form is really bad, and we really need to not lose that - cos to be 9 points behind brighton would be disapointing

So, if we don't lose, his record would be better - so thats good :-) Anf if we win, well only be 3 points behind.  So in conculsion, lets win

I'm giving up on maths

Our level has to go up massively. The last two efforts have been nowhere near acceptable.
