Guess The Crowd R4; VILLA v Watford Saturday 19th February!🥧

Hello, London Villan,

I’d suggest that it is based on the ST holdings and the visitors numbers, although some STs may not have been used. Even now, the only crowd figure I have been able to find for Villa v Watford is the one that KNV discovered, so we’re all reliant upon random press reports until the Beeb gets its act together again.

This absence adds a certain frisson to the competition, as the BBC posted the previous attendance totals for R1,2 and 3, albeit very late compared to the last time we played GTC🥧. I am indebted to the H&V teams who found them.

The attendance figure has now been added to the BBC online match report.

It's shown as 41,936...... I was just 2 away.

If you gained a point (or two) from the correct updated attendance figure, you have been credited and the Divisions will show this, soon.

If you would have lost a point, that seemed unfair to me given the Divisions were posted already, so you have kept your point!  This affected 1 team.

If the change did not affect your total one way or the other, you are exactly where you were!


I hope this has addressed the issue as fairly and transparently as possible! It may explain what London Villan saw, although the difference was only 64 seats.
