Oh no. Surely it's easier to splodge the cream onto the jam than the other way around? Am I Devon or Cornwall? I like pasties but without jam or cream.

If you try to put the cream on after the jam the scone loses all structural integrity and starts to crumble, so you have to cram it straight into your mouth as one.
