More interested in the Villa line up, it would not suprise me if he makes changes from Saturday with Luiz fit and Ings as an option. Bailey may be back on the bench with El Ghazi starting.

I would be fine with El Ghazi starting on the proviso that if he's clearly not on it after 15 minutes, he's hooked, as we'll know by then that he'll do nothing (penalties notwithstanding. But, looking at the officials, we ain't getting one of them)!

Free hit, few injuries for them… 1-3 it is then. I’d be really happy with a point, but despite our upturn with SG, can’t really see it. Maybe chuck some kids in? Carney, JPB?

What a waste of a sub that would be so early on though. Silly suggestion, sorry.

It wasn't a serious suggestion. I think he ought to be on the bench (serious suggestion).

It's not a free hit and certainly not a game to give the kids a run out. We can win, and should be aiming to. We've players that can score, we've ceded over 60% possession in the last two and won, we seem to have new manager bounce.

We should be aiming for a win.

We did beat the Champions of England 7-2 last season, a sneaky 2-1 victory should be in our grasp !

I think with the wave of confidence flowing through the team gives us a great chance. The atmosphere will be something else.

lambert interview ' its not like Brad just launched it for the 3rd goal '    errr I think he did Paul

El Ahamadi goal would've been disallowed for offside nowadays. Nice free kick from Bacuna though in that short spell when he was a mildly useful player.

Exactly this.  If ever there was a game to play your strongest team, this is it.  They are a seriously good side, albeit missing one or two players (hopefully).  But they do get beat from time to time and we are due a good gam v these.

I doubt he knows yet what is his strongest team. I’m expecting a couple of changes, for example is Young up to another start at his age, might he make a swap for Bailey?

yeah wouldn't be surprised if Ings starts (if fit). Buendia maybe.

if we can keep an unlikely clean sheet, we will win.

They weren't all that against west ham. I thought Moyes rather raised the white flag with his formation
